335i LSD

Hi guys

Need a little help.
Can anyone tell me if I have a welded or bolted diff please.

2007 E92 335i manual. Vin WBAWB 72070 PW81000

The Part number for the replacement I got from BMW is 33107571187
I heard that cars from 03/2007 have welded diffs. Not to sure what month my car was manufactured.

You car was built at Regensburg on 25.07.2007

From what I heave heard, every manual 335i after APRIL 2007 had the welded diffs.

My confusion came when I called BMW, gave them my VIN No. and asked for a Part No. (33107571187). Then I asked for a Part No. for the 2006 model. Its the same number! So I don't know what I have.

Just trying to get a quote for an LSD. Bolted around 20k, welded around 40k:nonono:

Your diff is welded for sure.

But you can also crawl under the car and take a pic of the diff then we can see if its bolted or welded...
