Hi chaps,

Im trying to understand something, so please bear with me.

There has been many questions raised whether the 335i is equipped with an LSD or not.

From my thread searches here, it seems it doesnt have one.
However, the dealership is adament that the car has an LSD.

So me being me, i decided to launch her hard without traction control
in sport mode from a robot on a concrete highway ...

I noticed the car leaves two distinct even tread marks all the way
I do believe that is resembles characteristics of an LSD present.

Does anyone know what it has or hasn't ????

Thx ...

Only the M Cars have LSD
The 335 def DO NOT have LSD i know because im in the process of upgrading my diff now

You might see 2 dark distinct lines of tread but there will def not be even power put down on the tarmac

Power will go to the path of least resistant

The Lsd is reserved for the M cars. You have an open diff. The question that you need to establish is whether you have a "bolted" diff or "welded" diff.

There are a few x35s running with an lsd including George Smooth & Twinz. Not sure about the other guys.

I installed the wavetrac but been so busy to write a review but all i can tell you the difference is felt immediately.

Tell us more about your car...

:joy:
