Personally I think you will be better off selling your car and buying x35, you just going to throw R115k away! Yes u might be one of the few with a Supercharged 330, but then your car is still worth it's book value in standard form.

Plus it's nice getting a new car!!

My 2c

I totally understand where you coming from and also agree, but if you want to sell again you can always remove kit and sell for normal price and sell the kit afterwards separately( I would buy it lol), or you could sell with the supercharger kit for more, you obviously wont get your money back because hey thats how the game works modifications arent investments lol but we still enjoy doing it, and on the 1 hand you will own any stock x35i on the road maybe even softwared one's, and also its nice to be an underdog and to me 335i sounds nice but 330i supercharged sounds like music to my ears, note that I'm not talking about the actual sound of the cars here lol it would just make it unique and that's something that I like because you see so many x35i's on the road it's become normal, but if I should see a 330i supercharged now that's something special lol

Hi,

I was in this dilemma last year sometime, when my 330 started its shit. Anyway, sadly I let it go and the new owner hasn't had an issue to date.

Anyway, don't waste your time on boosting this motor, supercharged or turbocharged. Firstly, the supercharger root only RGM is available locally, Arma Supercharger kits can be brought in. Boost is pegged due to the magnesium/aluminium block and cylinder head, terrible if you wanna go high boost and I can't really be repaired once everything goes boom. Hence turbocharging isn't really an option. I'm yet to see one turbocharged.

Expect 200wkw, worth it for +100k? Definitely not in my books. A stock 335 will run you very close at the reef, and at the coast you will be ahead. But just a decent software mod on the 335 and it will show you it's tailpipes. Forget 335's, stage 1 GTi's, will give you a run lol. Bad news

In a nutshell, sell your 330 privately and hope for the best because not many people want a 3.0l 6cyl car nowdays. Then go get yourself a 335. BTW whats done on your car to stick with a 335? Big difference stock for stock.

All the best  I still miss mine till now, but hey we gotta move on at some stage...

Dude. Sell the 330i. Get a 135i or 335i. Toss a JB4 DP and intakes in and you're sorted.

If the supercharger kit was more affordable it would be a good option and I get what you guys are coming from
I have tremendous respect for the n54/n55
With minimum work those cars can keep up with just about anything
But letting go of my car is the hard part and ASH M pointed out not alot of people would be looking for a petrol hungry 3L
Hence I'm looking to trade
My car has
decatt
downpipe
K&n drop in filter
and software
If you could pm me where those cars are for sale:ty:

and I'd just like to know
Has anyone tried LM fuel additive?
Some people say bmws run better on 98 octance
But I'm afraid of using fuel additives in the even they have any negative effect on the engine
Any ideas?

I doubt your car has a downpipe.

Liqui Moly products are tried and tested.

Lots of forum members have used their fuel additive, including myself, and works a treat (and safe).

Could you please advise which bottle to use and how to use aswell? Like how much to throw in X amount of petrol in the tank, thinking of throwing in some additive before going to the next s2s which will be on Monday 15th, also my car is stock so will this even make a difference?

1 bottle Liqui Molly NF Ultra to a full tank. Drive spiritedly (when car is warmed up). Not much difference on N/A cars. Bit more responsive. Nice bit of grunt on turbo cars

One bottle NF Ultra to half a tank of Fuel

Three pulls in 3rd gear from 1500rpm till red line, change into 4th and continue accelerating for a few seconds
