Where does the tandem pump sit that transfers the fuel between the left and right tanks? Also, I'm downloading Rheingold now, but the /D version. I'll get into coding a bit later when I'm more familiar with how the systems work.

Thank you. I want to get the car sorted before leaving for holiday. I am getting my thermostat from Donnie Darko hopefully tomorrow/Saturday, and will be fitting it Sunday. If I don't manage to fix my strange problem tonight, I'm going to have to postpone my holiday :blueCry:ver328i said:

Okay, let me not make this a lengthy love poem…my utter disappointment was your FB status. Secondly, apologies are cool but they must be done for the right reasons. No-one here is going to care about your sunburn on VWCSA comm involvement etc cause they don’t know all of that.
The way you wrote & what you wrote…for me…comes from yourself and not a bad day(Also what you wrote, the car frustration culd not have caused as the message was about the BMWFanatics community & NOT the car or BMW as a brand). Martin – For as long as I know you, you are one of the few ‘stand up’ guys that I have met hence the reason I would’ve went out of my way to help you. What you did was uncalled for, and from what I saw…was a stroke to fame with your buddies on FB. I plead with you to not become other people’s shadows of airing your frustrations on FB, you asked why didn’t I come to you and came straight here? Same question you should ask yourself, why go to FB and not here?
From the person you are to the person that posted that balls on FB….not the same Martin I know and met a few years ago. Hey, I aint perfect either, but dude don’t get lost in bad ways where you think its fine to be badass but in actual fact you biting the hand that feeds you.
Im not going to go into details etc, you and I are both adults…you should be able to see where you fell short as well we all did. Main thing here is that you take away the correct lessons that need to be learnt, we all learn every day for sure. Now it is true, I have no voice today and feel like kak, so try see my mail above to basically say see your shortfalls, learn from them and we don’t hold grudges here at all.
As Arbee says, bygones…I apologize for my statement about selling your car for a Sportline but at that point, I figured you should because your moaned about the BMW SOOO much lol.
You know if you need help, we always here to help where we can. Be yourself bud, don’t get washed by idiots.

Ash, after reading your post again, I realised that you are a doos. Please don't talk to me again.
Update:
The car is at the dealership, they're gonna see what they can do. I also picked up my thermostat from Donnie and he was kind enough to take me to talk to a master mechanic. He recons it's the crank angle sensor. So I'll phone the dealership Wednesday and tell them to change it. It makes sense that it is the crank angle sensor acting up given the symptoms and lack of error codes.

P.s. If you want exact meaning or clarity on my post, i dont mind doing it cause it seems you obviously read it in 2 different ways and it persuaded2 different decisions.

The car is still in my garage, everyone is puzzled and I
am still not convinced that it's my injector causing the
engine cutting out. I'm gonna get a new DME relay and
