328i Vibration when accelerating

Howsit guys, I am quite new to the forum, and I have a 1995 e36 328i manual. My car is still very neat, but I have noticed recently that under hard acceleration in first gear there is like a vibration or shudder from the rear of the vehicle between 30-50kph. I have searched this forum and others, but havent found something like this.
Does anyone know what could be causing this?
Thanx

I had a similar situation with my 325i. The rubber coupling between the tranny and the prop was completely shot. Have u had a look at that yet?

Plus 1. Check the Guibo (rubber coupling). If it is frayed, you will need to replace it. Also check the center bearing on the prop shaft.

I also replaced mine and still had a problem....reason; inferior quality part. :flyfun: Failure was undetectable without stripping out the guibo. Bought one from BMW (@ a sweet R1200 :yikes: ) and the problem was solved.
Updated with photos:

Inferior part quality:

Almost undetectable without removing the propshaft:

Resulting in vibration under load (e.g. acceleration or uphill driving).

2.) Center bearing is shot...

I had the same issue on my M3... Guibo or Flex disc.

Rubber mounting between gearbox and prop shaft. Get that checked out.

best of luck

My few cents...

AFter replacing in the above list as the fanatics stated, my E36 needed a driver side shaft as some teeth were worn, I hope you don't have my ordeal :flyfun:

Good luck buddy...

Trure that. Bought the genuine part and had another one made of poly for spares. This time we reinforced it with metal strips and nylon string. We'll see what happens if I ever need to change it again
