325is suspension

Hi all. The wait for the 325is may almost be over this weekend if all goes well. I wanted to ask some info. I want to replace the suspension in the sense of new bilsteins with h&r springs or eibach springs or coilovers. But i am unsure whats the beat or correct route. The car is an evo 1. I am looking to firstly go a hit lower about 1 to one and a half finger gap between rim and fender. Looking at even stance or maybe slight lift at the back but not much perhaps 10mm. Also comfort important and not looking for best handling as the car will be cruised in.
What are my options. My my back in the day experience bilsteins were not that compliant in that dampening was not very good. H&r is as we know a stiffer spring. This combo seems to be the preferred route though from back when tony vienna used to race these cars. If i go eibach the ride wud be better but drop may not be the drip i want ???
Coilovers, what optiins? Kw? I hear with coilovers welding is required, is tgat true? Are coilovers available?

What are your guys experiences and guidance hereon? Much appreciated.

Pa this sidnt post under suspenion inthink so posting here.
