No difference!!!!!
There is a difference. The Evo 1 had Alu panels while the Evo 2 had steel, but the evo 2 also had 10KW more power.
The easiest and best why to check the difference is in the VIN numbers. Both the Evo 1 and 2's VIN numbers started with 3 unique characters... although I can't remember what they were right now. I'll see if I can find the info quick. :thumb:
EDIT: Sorry, I can't find that info now.

@ nic you correct but the question was "what is the difference bet the 1991 evo II and 1992 evo II"
evo 1 VIN - OAF
evo 2 VIN -OEJ
saturnz said:I notice people get confused between conversions and modifications.
A conversion is when a different motor to the standard one is fitted to the shell, a modification is when the motor or car is worked on to improve performance.
A cheap logical conversion would be to simply fit a multivalve e36 motor.
Would the 142kw of the 328i outperform the 155kw of the 325is???
Besides losing the exhaust tone of the "kushesh" would be... :bawling:, oh that sound - it is just priceless not much can compare...
saturnz said:I didn't say the 328i motor would perform better, but if you are going to do a cheap conversion, what motor would you suggest thats cheaper than the 328 motor?
WyKiD said:[Well that is a moot point, because the point of this thread was to increase performance on the car...:dunno:

so basically you have no better suggestion for a conversion, you can only criticise then?
Dude what are you on about? Criticise???
It was merely a question, this is after all a "forum to discuss motoring issues". Perhaps you should go and read one more time what i posted and this time comprehend that it was just a question.
Besides, according to your own tutorial this thread is about modifications and not conversions. Enough of the thread jacking, relax dude its almost holidays...
