325i BMW Owner

Ok so some of you know I traded my 2007 Focus ST on a BMW 325i. Some might also know I said the BMW is slow (and I got flamed a bit :))

But had to go to the Freestate on Wednesday and returned home today. This is what I want to say:

My ST was FAST (stock it sucks but Stage 2 there's really a limited amount of car's that can catch it) and I loved being able to show off a bit, the sound of the exhaust was amazing, the features lacked a bit and the build quality was ok.

The BMW isn't really fast. Reason, it's not made to be fast. It's not the 335i (which I will be getting this time next year, already decided lol.)

BUT

I'm glad to be a BMW owner. The drive is a bit hard if the road has a few bumps. But the drive quality is so much better. The comfort is a lot nicer, cruise control RULES!!! hehe. Didn't do anything. Car basically drove itself the entire time @ a good speed :)

My petrol saving itself will be really good. Did 700km on a tank (mainly cruise control else it's not that good because of my heavy "shoes" haha) where the ST did around 400/430km.

The sound system I think should be a bit better on the BMW. Think they trying to save money on it but not working. At least it's not a impossible task to upgrade.

All and all, I'm glad to be a BMW owner and to be honest, I'm a slave to BMW now. Only reason I'm selling the 325i is for more speed and the 335i is what I want. Nothing else compares to it. Yea a lot of cars will still outrun the 335i but they aren't doing it with style :)

People really do think more of a person who get's into a BMW. My Focus was a lot faster but never has anyone moved out of my so fast when I'm in the BMW :)

Where do you live? I'll let you drive my M3... then you'll fall in love with BMW for sure. ha ha

I would love that :)

But I think the M3 is a bit more then the 335i?? Will see how my budget looks next year when I'm trading it in :D But I just want more power in the lower rpm range. Overtaking a car now I have to shift from 6th to 3rd/4th.

But I'm sold to BMW now :)

ps: North Riding. I think the 19" rims on the car is also slowing me a down a bit

I was fortunate to drive decent cars in terms of where it ranked in its range over the years but nothing came close to my first BMW. I know what you're feeling
