323i 130kw or 140kw

Hi

I am not sure what my specs for my sep 2007 323i. How do i know the difference. Also my bonnet is not ripped but flat and my reverse lights are clear.. Can someone assist me

According to www.um.co.za .... 2007 models are 140kw and the 2005 models 130kw.

I had a 2006 323i which was 130kw and traded it for the 2010 323i which is 140kw. I was told that all pre facelifts 323i are 130kw. I just double checked with the two manuals which confirm this. Not sure whether the 2007 pre facelift will be any different from the 2006.

I had a chat with sherwin @ excede, the motor used on the E90 323i is about the same as the E90 325i. The 323 has a different inlet manifold and the capacity is slightly smaller (323i is a 2.5L and 325i is a 2.6L not a huge difference).

I'm trying the source an E90 325i inlet manifold, BMW performance intake and then have the car remapped at Excede. Hopefully i cant get the car to 160kw or more at the flywheel.

I'm stuck at 110 kw. :bawling: Perhaps with some modifications I can run with a 323i ? I'm probably dreaming.
