Hi people.....

My question is...

My car will be parked for 2 weeks without starting or moving.. Will that cause problems in any way?

Thanks

My car was parked off outside at my complex for 35 days when I went to Saudi.

I filled up the tank and over-inflated the tyres slightly.
Came back, put key in ignition and press Start- no problems.

I am sure even longer than that wouldn't be a problem.
3 months or so and more, you need to take precautions, I would think.

Truth be told, my 135 sometimes sits in the garage for 2 - 3 months at a time with out being driven or started. And i have yet to have an issue with her.
Just take her for a good long drive before you park her off. If youre going to leave it in your garage for the two weeks, just crack the windows open slightly to get some air flow through the car. Other than that you will be 100%.

I think that the first problem to emerge with any lengthy storage or non-usage would be the battery

depending on the condition of the battery to hold its charge
neither of my cars would last a week without a recharge

consider investing in a booster pack if you are in doubt about the battery

oils and fuel and lubrication should only really start to show problem signs after a month or two IMHO

I frequently have cars parked up for 2months+. I have battery chargers. I have never picked up issues with lubricants or leaks. I do a quick check of oil levels and water levels (oil can appear over teh full mark if it has all gone back to the sump. Check again after starting.

I start for a minute. Then shut down and check everything again.

The problem I have is flat spots on the tyres. I have a formulae that seems to work. I let the tyres down a bit. Then I go for a drive, slow around teh suburb then go to the garage and over inflate them for a day or two. That seems to work. The idea is warming them up and making them supple and then pushing them out.
