Anybody used the fast factory intercoolers?

Comparing it to the stock oem intercooler. Specifically the one below.

Hi All, so from what I have read online there is an issue usually with the charge pipes on most f30 cars. Because they are plastic. I checked mine and they seem 100% with no visible issues at all.

So I've been looking around for replacements (after market upgrades) for mine. I can't find any stock locally so will probably have to either import or have it custom made locally.

But there isn't much info on the charge pipes of the 320d B47. Should I replace it if I have upgraded intercooler, dp and tuned map or are the stock boost and charge pipes enough? And I get recommendations to replace it, can someone recommend a local place that might have it or is willing to make it for me?

I don't race my car at all. I only want to make sure it has all the parts to run efficiently and not be weakened by one part or another. I am not going to run meth or any extra boost type additives in my diesel/fuel.

And any recommendations of air filters? Stock or k&n pan?

Just an update to my thread regarding maintenance etc.

So far I've done the following with great results.

Downpipe - Xcede performance
Mild Stage 2 Tuning - Xcede performance
Bigger Intercooler - Mr Turbo (other one didn't last) - Xcede performance installed

Took it to BMW for usual oil service and brake fluid flush. They actually still checked everything else and didn't say anything about my mods. Told me about my tires that still has more than enough tread, brakes still all good. The usual maintenance items.

Did a Dyno tune and pushing 173kw/520nm. So definitely happy with everything. I don't do any racing or dragging just glad I have that extra power when I want to overtake on the long road.

Did my gearbox service at ZF In CPT this week too. One last item on the list for performance is air filter. Getting a ram performance air filter (not complete intake) next week.

I actually gave up on searching for charge and boost pipe because I can't find it anywhere. Mine does not have any issues either (did data logging and diagnostics test when doing Dyno. Cost extra, but just for peace of mind to make sure i have no leaks, that the boost is correct, air to fuel ratio eight etc...).

Then I need to sort out the rim scratches, and last the detail and paint touch ups on the front. Where in cpt is best for rim repairs? BMW quoted me R5400 for all 4 rims refurbish (Style 403).
