TNT branches, freeflow, dastek uniQ chip and BMC filter!
Will surely be faster and lighter on fuel but still not a rocket! to be honest you will still be chowed by a stock 325i!

If its for own performance DO IT!!!!!!! but if you want to race something , save R3000 more and get Some NOS fitted at SABEE COETZEE @ NITRO PERFORMANCE! then you will give alot of cars a suprise!

jip i didnt, just he said he has got R7000! and he will maybe just just get chip , zorst and filter done for that money..
diff will work out another say R2000

There are so many mods that can be done, but he must decide what hes goal is! to have a raceble car or just more overtaking power!

To be honest you can open the motor and do the full works! stroke, head and cams, indv throttles, high compression, blue print balance and and and! but for 1/4 of that money you flip in a 328I engine and have more power!

I can easily get very good power out of that 4cyl engine! but it does not have the torque to pull that heavy body!
So quick buck race car ill go the NOS route!
Other wise save and do 328 swop with all our funny mods and have a quick car! but going that extend ill sell the car and buy a 328i and have less shit!

Or turbo the shit out of it! 4cyl turbo FTW!!!!!!!!

hmm, I see, thanks for the help, what will a turbo convertion cost roughly? and what is the performance diff between a 330i and m3? witch one is the better value for money? and what will a 328i's motor cost me? and is there a lot of mods to be done if I do this?

There is a massive difference between the 330 (170kW) and M3 (252kW), that is of course if you mean e46 M3. You will have a hard time finding a complete M3 motor and they usuallt go for around R50k, this is of course what I have seen there could be cheaper ones available. If you could get your hands on an M3 motor it would be awesome, but it would be a better bet to look for a 330 engine.

I am not to sure about prices but there will be quite a number of things that you will need for the engine swop such as the wiring harnass computer etc.
If you seriously want to do an engine swop you should contact a couple scrapyards and ask them to let you know when they have got in a written off 325, 328 or 330, cause then you can strip out all the wiring along with the engine. But this is just my opinion.

what wiring will it be? only the engine bay? and the computer? Is it worth it to do the swop or just buy a new model

I would just save up and buy another car, instead of doing the mods, as you're gonna lose all those extras when you sell. In fact you might get even less ...

+1.
The R7k he's willing to spend he probably won't get back when he sells the car.

@Pho3niX90: Save the bucks, get a new ride dude.
