3 Series GT (F34)

I need some info regarding the 3 series gt.
I am interested in the 320d.
You either like this car or hate it, I like it. This brings me to the question. How many people really like it?

Does it have a really bad trade in value, and does it sit on dealer floors for a long time? Both of which will be to my advantage.

I am looking for some inside info from the people in the trade perhaps.

I like the wing on it, looks different. Like a mix between an estate and a sedan. Not a bad looking car, also more unique than the normal 3 series.

There are not a lot around, so interesting topic on the numbers..

Personally I dont like it. If I want space I'll go for an X3. They are generally poor sellers too. Having said that they do have a lot of space.

What are your requirements?
Do you like it because it's different or do you need more luggage space / rear legroom vs. the regular F30 3 Series?
Are you planning on buying new or used?

Remember that what counts in your favor when buying will probably count against you when selling/trading in in the future.

I want the luggage space, currently driving a Kuga and the pram occupies most of the space. Don't want an F30, just too many of them around.
Will be buying used R300-400k mark

I foresee the gt being lighter on fuel than any of the x's with the same motor. The increased head room gives alot more space than the sedan. If only they brought the 330d here, I can't bring myself to get the 530d gt.
