245/45/17 on Standard E60 Rims

Guys,

My E60 is currently running 225/50/17's all round. With the added power thanks to promotec, I am keen to get some wider tyres all round. Any idea if 245/45/17's will fit without an issue?

Ther reason for the "45" profile is that it is much more common than the the "50 profile"

What width are your rims?

It will fit it's within spec, but it's a tad bit smaller , meaning your speedo will over read by 0.8% , not a train smash.
