lol, its kewl. you guys missed out tho, myself, snip3r and an MR2 had the pan all to ourselves.. lol, It was kickass .. !
was an C63 earlier in the day and an M3 CSL , arbee ? not sure if he is on the forum.
and obviously Kobus325 had a jol on the track

Sounds like I missed a great one. Value for money if only 3 cars were there..

There wasn't anyone there TO TAKE PICTURES :hammerhead: ... grrr, lol.
but it was awesome, snip3r's dad came with also, they seemed to really enjoy it, after we plugged out his DSC unit he had some real fun. lol.

Why you have to plug out the DSC unit??
My dad would have liked it in his younger days, hes now an old man with a very bad back.. So the skidpan would put extra stress on it.
Also my sister wanted to do something with him as well.
Also I had to do half the day with the Girlfriends family.. & he really would have hated a skidpan..
Wish I could have joined as I now wont be able to probly till December after Uni & tests & exams..
Might try squeeze the 18 July in

Hey Guys and Gals :wave: !
Yesterday's Supertraxx was not a disappointing affair. I have not seen so many spin outs and near wall collisions than yesterday. The track was unforgiving in the morning. It was slippery as hell, and being it a not so busy affair, I reckon everybody tried to push the boundries a little to far to early, including myself :hammerhead::banghead:. A Alfa 156 lost it's right front wheel, a Skyline GT34R had a very close call missing the first turn pit wall with inches, a track preped 4 door M3 met up with some tyres, a couple of spin outs from almost everybody in the A group (2.0l and above), and then ofcourse me.
It was my first farming expidition, and luckily I came away from it very lightly :mmm:. No obvious damage as I just spun out on turn 4 and then skidded into the gravel (kitty litter). I think I went into the turn to fast and as I'm driving with standard road tyres, not pumped the correct pressure and still being cold, I learned a very valuble lesson :shocked:. But after that, when the track heated up and most people left after lunch, it was much better.
It was also my wife's track debut. She went around the track with me, and it is the first time in her life she does something like this. I obviously drove much slower than when I'm alone as to ease her into things. She did almost pass out in the first couple of rounds :drool:, but then it started getting better. The last session we had she was way more relaxed and actually enjoyed it, even though I drove a bit faster :thumb:. Thus, I think success has been reached as sh will do this again.

All and all I enjoyed myself. Being on Fathersday, I can understand that attendence was low, and not being able to chat on the Net for a couple of days. I reckon we can do the next one better attended.
