Does this include the members that nominated themselves?

I personally do not see it right for someone to nominate themselves. It should be based on merit from the collective as a democratic vote of confidence.

There is a clear difference between a dictatorship and a democracy.

At least in here we can experience how a real democracy works? :=):

If you have to nominate yourself, I doubt you will get enough nominations, to get you in the door.

Completely agree.

From experience, seeing people nominate themselves also starts the clock on a ticking time bomb in failure.

Seen it at the highest of roles.

Some need to realise that being a moderator or an admin yields no financial gain and no perks in terms of seniority.

Its a role entrusted to you for the best of all concerned.

In fact its a thankless role which often leads to multiple whatsapp messages, calls, mails and PM's at all hours.

It turns the meekest and mildest of personalities into thick skinned moody folk at times. :skit:

It takes someone with hair on their teeth to be able to balance it all out and make it work.

Does not mean they will be elected :=):

Democracy would be allowing you guys to vote in whomever you like. This does not always go well.

Dictatorship would be me introducing you to new mods without a nominations process.

I nominated myself because I'd like to think that I am balanced in my judgement in general and I do not get involved in mud slinging...even in jest. I wasn't trying to get a back door into a higher tier or anything.:=):
