This will be epic if they release it in RHD. The E63 S is available in AWD already but only for LHD markets. Having owned and driven various AWD cars, the drivetrain loss and added weight are definitely noticeable. I am sure they will be employing other weight saving measures to compensate and ensure the right balance and feel.

And a touring... sign me up if they bring it here!

The AWD or X-Drive has been available in every model since the E60 and before

Its just that we in South Africa dont get them, along with other important models, such as the the 550d or a 5 series /M diesel.

But if you live in a snow bound area such as Canada, you can order AWD on your F30 316 if you were that way inclined.

I think this is going to be more than just X-Drive. I am sure it will newer better tech applied to the M models.

i agree
its developed by the M division should be totally different with various diff settings etc
