The time is here for you as members of this forum to place your nominations for moderator candidates, to further be elected within a voting process, and to further be appointed as moderators of the forum, as chosen by the members, for the members, to aid the current staff in their daily moderating duties and to assist in the growth of the forum name.
The nominees must:
- have a strong daily presence on the forum.
- be unbiased in their views, opinions and posts.
- be up for the challenge.
- be willing to sacrifice and dedicate time to the forum, its members, and the needs thereof.
- be able to moderate the forum according to the rules and regulations as stipulated.
- have a strong knowledge of the rules and regulations of the forum.
- have a good adherence to the rules and regulations of the forum.
- be an asset to the staff body and the brand that is the forum.
- have a post presence of good quality (not spam).
- be approachable, in that they will get requests on and off the forum at all times of the day for assistance from members, be it to edit their threads or help them find something etc.
The ten most nominated members (ie: 10 most popular names) will then be put into a voting process. We will contact these nominees to find out if they are willing to be a part of the staff body prior to voting, once nominations have taken place. If one or more of the ten most popular nominees do not accept the position, we will fall back to a "reserve" of nominees being the runner ups in popularity to the first ten most popular.
The rules:
- No past or current staff members may be nominated.
- No past, present or upcoming advertisers may be nominated.
- Nominations will close on Sunday 12 April 2015 at 12h00.
- All nominations must be posted in this thread; no nominations posted elsewhere will be considered.
- Only two nominations per member allowed.
- Any discrepancies to the rules will be unapproved.
