2011 323i M Sport Suspension

Gents,

Mate of mine bought a 323i E90.....Just phoned me now and told me the suspension collapsed.

Is it possible for the suspension to collapse completely ?
can any of you give a brother some advise here on what to check for mileage on the car is 117K.

Howzit...thats uncommon. does the car have standard springs or aftermarket lowered springs?

How do you define collapsed? Is it just sitting too low (shocks/springs) or is it something like a broken strut/arm causing one wheel to sit wrong?

Could be as simple as one bolt breaking off or coming loose, if that happens suspension will feel like it "collapsed" very uncommon for the whole suspension to collapse usually it will be one part that failed

Told him to take it to autoquip to have the suspension checked, then go talk to the dealership where he bought it from. Will let you guys know. He also told me that the ass is all over the place and when he brakes the ass tries to overtake lol if that makes any sense

Okay update as promised

Car was sent to Autoquip this morning and they found this from the Rear left of the car
Can anybody please tell me what part broke ?

Not sure, but dealer is comming to fetch the car from Autoquip today, was hoping someone on here could give me more info as to what broke LOL, the boys at Autoquip say its the rear stabilizer bar, but was looking for more confirmation

He can be great full he does not own a 320i, would have been worse.

That is stabilizer. Clearly that car did a lot of rough roads.
Age and stress would have caused that.
