Yeah, but my motor plan expires in under a year. Don't you think it's worth having the decat done then ? I REALLY won't be able to afford another BMW. Unless I get an E46 model which I don't want to do. The last thing I want is an older model. So I have to make the most of my current situation. I mean, I have no idea what kind of resale value I could expect for my car in 6-8 months.

when mplan goes, i read quite a few guys here saying decat, exhaust and induction would be okay but its your ca,r your money and if the mods make you happy then why not? jsut let us know how it goes, would be a good read and interesting Olorin.

Dont excpect much, the new 3 is coming out next year, the facelifted models decreased the pre-facelift's value, and if you out or close to out of motorplan the value nose dives.:cursin:

I would rather drive a top of the range and fully loaded mazda 6 (2.5), Ford Focus 2.0 TDCi Poweshift or for that matter a Jetta than a entry level 320i or a 116i when new cars are considered.
Better yet, like someone stated in some of the first posts - an e46 330i and plenty spare cash left.:thumbsup:

I went to test drive the 2.0 tdci focus. It almost put me off diesels forever. After that I vowed never to drive a diesel again. I went straight to audi and got my first german car. You cannot compare a ford with any of the germans (except the fake opel ones). When i actually gave in to test drive the 320d, I was amazed how big difference there is in power delivery etc. You do not pay a premium price for a premium brand because you are a snob, its because you know better. Don't get me wrong, my fiesta tdci was one of my favorite cars, it handled GREAT!!! But seriously, if you rather drive the top of the range mazda, its fine. But don't call the entry beemers POS's.

How much do you reckon ? R140000 ? I've seen ads on Gumtree for as much as R160000+ and my millage is better than most. It's in excellent condition, under motor plan until May 2012 or 100k with all the extras in white.

So Fordkoppie, what car do you drive again ?

He drives a e34 M5, among others.

So he drives fast+kak attitude=the same type of person that gives BMW drivers a bad name...by driving an M5, i would have thought he would have been a bit more mature n open minded in his posts.
