If i remeber correctly the battery is charged as you drive.

You can change the battery at the dealer, it should not cost too much. ....

There is a difference in keys between normal keys and keys for "Comfort Access Entry"

The first ones are charged whilst driving (Vanadium-Lithium-Akku VL2020 made by Panasonic), the latter ones are std batteries which are NOT rechargeable!
Only those can be changed easily: it a button battery type CR2032

So the standard non comfort access keys can be charged while driving.
