2006 BMW 330d Auto sale price

Hi all, just a quick update. I decided to just cut my losses and get rid of the car. Bought myself an F30 320i yesterday, and I must say - I'm happy so far! Thanks again for all the help everyone... hopefully this one sticks with me longer than my previous cars haha

Its like people don't read recommendations or take advice on the forum. Why bother sometimes.

Wow ok thanks. Didn't ask for this rudeness

I sincerely hope you didn't ask for timing chain issues with the 320i as well then... Since that's how things work now?

You are welcome. Sometimes we need not ask, for the things we deserve.

Knowing full well the shit storm you've just come through with the E90, one would think you would be doubly careful and do as much research as you can as to your next car. Which you obviously didn't do, instead you go and buy a F30 with a well documented troublesome engine (N20) and then post as if Forumites should say well done for sticking your head in the sand?

Forgive me for not having the patience to molly-coddle you, on your latest purchase.

All I can say is this - you are a very mean spirited, rude person for attacking me like this. I was not rude to you ONCE yet look what you are doing. I hope you feel good about yourself for trying to bring me down for absolutely no reason - you obviously feel inadequate in some way and need all the attention you can get ;)

Okay sure, thank you for your pseudo-analysis Dr.

You obviously have no idea what an attack is. With your sensitive and quite frankly, asinine nature, a car forum is not the place for you.. Your forum profile is actually wasted, get someone with more aptitude to use it and derive the benefits that could be had.

Whoops! Looks like I hit a nerve there. Not even going to waste another minute argueing with someone such as yourself. Have a great day! I know I will!"

With the amount of shit you went through with your 330d I sincerely hope you don't have issues with the n20 engine.

Don't take things too personally, most people here have been trying to assist you.

Thanks bud. A lot of guys on this forum are very helpful and I really appreciate it. So far, I've had better luck with the petrol BMW's than the diesels, so will just have to see. I just don't appreciate when someone insults me on a forum dedicated to all BMW lovers just because I bought a car. I was so happy for finally getting my dream car (an F30), and just wanted to share my new pride and joy on the group as everyone else likes to do.

Just for the record the N20 petrol engine must be one of the biggest engine disasters that a manufacturer has unleashed on the public.

From blocked oil channels that prevent oil flow to the vanos units to rotten plastics in the engine to weak chains.

It is a brave man who buys an N20.

I wish you well with your new car.

Congratulations and wish you trouble free motoring. BTW, my sister has F30 320i and the car is now over 160k km and never skipped a bit. Look after the car and it will be good to you. please share the photos of the new ride  :tiptoe:
