I'm going to agree with some of the others. Give it back ASAP. The e65 is a marvel of electronics, but when they go wrong, it can cost dearly.

If you can leave it with me for a few days, I will check it out for you.

May I ask, even in PM, what you paid for the vehicle...

Hi zaleonardz@DentDocVPS

Unfortunately i need to commute with the vehicle on a daily basis. weekends is the only time i have to attempt fixes. If Possible i can drive on a Saturday morning.

BMW in Garsfontein also said i need to book in but will not have vehicle for a day.

You may ask in a PM and i will answer as long as the price is not disclosed to anyone else.

thank you for providing assistance

If the price was "right"
If you love this car (I would)
If the dealer is willing to get the issues resolved amicably
If the cost of getting it sorted back to spec as it should be is reasonable

then I would keep it

decisions decisions

If the dealer is neither willing to accept his responsibility for amicably sorting out the issues, and/or if it is going to cost "an-arm-and leg" to sort out,

then maybe walk away with a full refund

I personally would hate to leave behind such a beauty of a machine....but sometimes common sense has to rule over the heart/emotions

Hi i will enquire with the dealer. This was not the cheapest but was priced very good

I am phoning them on monday morning and will enquire on repairs.

I love the 7. I have been looking at them for the past 4 years. I have driven mainly vw tdi, nissan maxima but this is my ultimate dream.

Will hate to see it go but if dealer wont fix then refund will be on the cards

I also love the 7....esspecially the E38 after the James Bond movie....

My heart bought one, even though technically she had been abused, so little by little I am attending to her, "project car", I never ever entertained returning mine...as it was an act of love that bought her, not logic.

I think if the dealership is willing to sort out all issues and manage to sort out all issues properly, not just quick fixes then it would be wise to keep it.

If on the other hand they aren't, they werent too forthcoming to start off with( could have been ignorance) and cant be trusted that much,.

Which date was it last serviced with the dealer?
And be careful with the dealers too. Confirm pricing of everything you ask for them to do beforehand.
