2004 318i e46 : looking for clutch kit.

Hay there gents, im looking for alil advice.

I need to do a clutch on my dad's e46 318i:

Question1: do i really need to replace the duel mass?
Question2: can one replace the duel mass with a normal flywheel?
Question3:where is a good place to buy parts other than the stealers.

Ps: i stay in the south of JHB, if any of you guys have a kit that they would like to sell, let me know!

Autozone would normally sell a dual mass flywheel for about R3000 and a clutch kit for around R2000 .
Normally if there is no damage to the DMF ie no noise or surface damage ( blue marks - hot spots etc ) you can take a chance .
A SMF needs a clutch plate to suit it ( with clutch springs ) as the DMF has springs and there are no springs in its corresponding clutch plate .

I think a pm to Gizmo would help , he is in the south of JHB .
