Okay well you are asking the wrong person, cause i love the E46 M3.. looking at getting one myself!!

I thin that color is awesome too, very rare as i have not seen many in that color. As for the grey leather i think it goes well with the car!!

And it all depends on the Km's on the clock!!

But looks very neat!!

Cheers

thanks guys

just came back from viewing the M3 SMg

the car is at Zambesi Auto BMW -

don't waste your time - the car has had some panel beating

even the manager told us not go near it and it's as is :slap:

test drove a 525 sport though -we really liked it but it was black :)

guess the hunting continues :bawling:

cool man, keep on rolling....

rather look for a few weeks than end up with a fked up piece of shit for months, at the end of the day it will be well worth it

Are you shopping for an M3 or just anything from the bmw stable?

yeah true

there was alot of overspray and all the interior trimmings looked 20 years old.plus with the ci ,we knew what to look out for.

opening and closing the doors was the worst ,like closing the doors of my uno,no where near my ci.

when i asked the first salesman why it's like that ,he says all bm 2 doors are the same.that was the first giveaway ,i took the salesman to my ci and asked him to open and close my doors -he replied and said because my car has a lower mileage -what bull.:hammerhead:

my ci has 124 and the M3 has 105.

from there my wife started asking why is this like that and look at this.

must admit -she pointed out more than 20 faults -then the salesman told us nicely his manager would assist us.i must admit he was honest , he told us we seem to now about these cars-my wife said no ! not really.

we just comparing our car to yours and for 200k it is a piece of polished junk- his face changed colour and told us - Trust me and don't buy this car -guess he knew he was caught and it would cost him heavy.:slap:

i made an offer of 120k for it as is - he was actually considering it until my wife said HELL NO !that was the end of the M3 and thats when we saw the 5.

i think the 5 series is a nice:)

it's a nice family car and looks the part

but then a 4 pipe has always been a dream and now that it's in reach i'm not sure cause he ci is similar except it's not a M and doesn't fly.:bawling:

a bit stuck plus a budget of 300 i want the most bang for buck with some luxury -guess a 6 or 7 would be the best Zaleonardz

plus the 525 i saw had on 60 000km and was a 2007 model -so bal of plan
also had the i drive and the round knobie fascinated my son

i don't like the e90's , don't get me wrong , they are lovely but too common.

the manager called my earlier , said he had a 530d sport in silver with 50k on the clock with all the bells .he'll bring it around on Monday to see.

a bit excited :)

Well, for 300k neg (book just short of 400) you can take a look at mine. I paid 275 + 25 for maint, so its a clean car with no structure accident damage, and I recently had it cleaned up after that hail damage that I had.

Still some 25,000 odd in motor plan, turbo was replaced in Dec, and the car is all out stunning. you will not find a better drive then a E65 if your after comfort, and its not nearly as much of a boat as you think, that space frame chassis is amazing and its quite agile for its size, plus 500Nm and 160 odd Kw means that its not slow either.

Tires good, rims good, i bought it a couple of months ago, but since then made the decision to start up my own business again, and I am deep in negotiations for one, so I have been considering selling it to help with cash flow, and replace it in a year or two time with an E39 or E60 M5.

Extra's on mine
Comfort seats with Lumbar support (if your looking at a 7, this is a must...)
soft close doors
automatic rear tailgate lift and close
Full I drive with Sat Nav
Electric rear blind
Electric everything twice.

If you want to pop around and take a look, let me know, and come and drive it, even if you dont take mine, the E65 is something that you have to experiance, the driving dynamics are a lot differant then you will expect.

Check out the showroom, I posted some pics when it came back from hail damage.

Your wife should have kicked that salesman in the nuts after you whacked him in the lower left jaw and left him for the ants. Had you not been smart, he would have taken u for a ride & had a big smirk once you drove out of there:cursin:
