2002 BMW 318i e46 2jz conversion HELP!!!

:idea: I have a 2002 BMW 318i e46... I have to do an engine overall on... BUT.... I've heard about the 2jz conversion... I just don't know what I'm going to get myself into... If there is anyone who has done this... or knows how everything is going to work, what all the changes has to be... Please help...:fencelook:

Lots of custom work and money. Google it. There are lots of people who have done this conversion

Like what customs? That's why I posted, there is so many posts from 2011, but it's end 2014 already.. I believe there will be some new opinions and advice... I don't want to make it a super car... not yet..... just want it running... I don't see the need to pay almost Rik just for gaskets on the motor I've got in now... so what of there is any other suggestions on other motors then?:flyfun:

Custom engine brackets. Probably modified prop shaft. Custom boost pipes. Custom downpipe.

What does it matter if posts are from 2011. Your doing the same thing.

Another common option is a v8.
