Forgot to add, full tool kit, full size spare (also style 44), rain sensor, electric sportpack seats and rear PDC, oh and the left mirror moves down when you put it in reverse.

Hi Gizmo slightly off topic, but what does it take to make the mirrors move down when putting car into reverse? (e46) I think that's quite a handy feature
Its the first E46 I have seen that does this, I thought it was a E39 feature only. It also may have to do with the car having the auto rain sensor too.
I would also like to know what is involved in making it work on my e46, will do some research.

My Uncle has a facelift E46 330i and it has this feature as well

e46 M3 does this as well

It is an e46 feature if you have electric memory seats.

yeah, with all models it only works if the vehicle has electric memory seats.
brilliant feature to have if you parallel parking , but a PITA if you alley docking or reversing generally, although it can be switched off

Simply switch the mirror button to the right to deactivate it.

Its starting to make sense what all the other extra wires are for when I retrofit electric seats to E46s...:coolShake:

Wow nice find Gizmo  is this also getting a 330i conversion with a 6 speed manual box :)
I doubt it, maintenance first, particularly suspension refresh.
Coming from a opel vivaro panel van the 325i auto is plenty fast.
His first mod will be centre consol armrest, very soon!

The remote on the key hasn't worked since Bradley got the car so he has been using the door lock instead, last night the inevitable happened when he unlocked the car in the rain, a part of the door lock broke and auto rolled down the windows and sunroof, he had a wet and cold drive home! After he finished towel drying the interior and the rain stopped around 9pm I told him to come by so I can take a quick look. Pulled the door lock apart and found the broken piece and made a plan so he could lock and unlock the car until I found a replacement door lock, got one at the scrapyard today and stripped it for the vital piece we needed. This evening he came by again so I could re-install his repaired lock, all is working again! While at the scrappers I got him a new depo indicator lens to match the right side. Finished off the evening by de-badging his car.

De-badge done!

Work horse, he takes pride in the clean boot by using an old duvet.

I showed him how to set the memory seats.

Already putting miles on her.

Bradley is so proud of his new car as he constantly sends me whatsapp pics of ones from overseas and their mods for how he would like his to look in future, the mod bug has bitten him!

Inspection service in 500km time, more pics then.

Nice one Gizmo. Respect. Beauty of a car. I so love the wagons. Pity none were avail when I was looking to buy. I have a good German friend and ex-classmate who says majority of ppl buy wagons over saloons (3's, C's & A4's) in Germany and you are almost considered foolish if you don't. I like to believe that. Good work bud!

That's why in Europe the wagons were offered in every engine and drive train derivative. I have to agree with your German friend now since owning a wagon, I will never buy a sedan again, they far too impractical.
