(Warning a lot of M5 pics :-D)
So my day starts with runing around getting the M3 to the panel shop and trying to arrange a ride back. Lift all sorted, and then get a call from Bruce saying he is willing to lend a hand (hands over head). Thanks for offering Bruce.
The good news is Bruce called to tell me the M5 is ready (knowing I would be dropping of the M3 today)
I change plans and make my lift drop me off at Bruce's workshop. Eager to get there I was.
Bruce took the time to have the car washed again

, and parked it so that it would not get dirty, as well as stand out in the surroundings.
Here is what I walked into
Eagerly I leave (taking delivery of a car is always nice, especially one from Bruce), but I see the sad look on Bruce's face as his work of art disappears out workshop gate. My heart sinks a little as I know how attached Bruce gets to his clients cars.
I don't quite know what Bruce has done, but man does the M5 drive like a monster, traction control light is a constant in 1st and 2nd gear. The engine tone from him tinkering with the exhaust is just perfect. (Sorry I questioned you on what it would sound like Bruce). In cabin, She has a goose bump giving purrrrrrr under normal acceleration, she is quiet cruising around at a constant speed and gives off this spine tingling understated growl under traction control inducing acceleration..... Smiles for Miles I tell ya.
I stop at a filling station to fill up, I just know she is going to be thirsty because of the driving mood I am in, and a big plus is that I have a few clients to see today :-D.
This is when I notice that Bruce left a special touch for me.....
Sitting waiting for the attendant, I noticed Bruce has cleaned up the steering wheel. The steering wheel was pretty clean and something I never mentioned previously. As for a 12/13 year old car, the stitching was faded but I was still content as it looked clean enough and the colour was still showing.
(Wish I had a before picture)
This is what I now see (thank you Bruce)
Loopy and M obsessed Elton, entertains the petrol attendants while taking a few pics of the car (the polish and paint work look fantastic)
I couldn't quite get enough and took a few more photos when I got home
