1M Value

Seems I might get an opportunity to acquire a 2012 1M. Just curious to know what would be considered a good deal. I've seen one for sale for R699k from a dealer. My one will have 50k kms.

I am still following these 1m prices and I reckon with the mileage you stated around R600k retail. R700 000 should be one with mileage under 20000km. I have seen one for r949k with 20000km, but I think that's optimistic from the seller... But one never knows

Yeah this is such a loaded question...

They seem to be appreciating in my mind... I could find one at the beginning of last year for 620 k with around 25k KM....

I saw one with 55k KM around that time for 490k...

I agree that the price of R949K is optimistic, however you will probably find that they dont wanna sell but have put it out there with that price tag and if it sparks interest they will let it go

Limited numbers, possibly the only 1M coupe BMW will ever make as the 2 series has now taken it's place.... I think these cars will appreciate in value if kept stock...

I would wait for the M2 to be more readily available as it would appeal to the same buyers. It might force the price of the 1M down a bit.

Around the same time of buying the M6, also had the opportunity to get into a 1M for 630k and I've seen alot around the 600k mark with low kms. I think that's pretty reasonable. But waiting for it to appreciate will probably leave you bored since you change cars so often :roflol:

I think sub R650k is a fair price...problem is finding one that hasn't been fiddled with too much. In my opinion, i would pay more for a bone stock example then one that was worked...

That one in Nam is quite a deal. The one I know of is stock and never been modded. Raced ofcourse but very very well kept otherwise. I'd be lucky to get it under R650k though so considering the nam one rather...
