Greetings

Dyno'd my car for the first time ever :=):

206.8 wkW with 446 Nm

Car: 2010 N55 135i DCT
Mods: JB4 Stage 2 - Map 5 (95 octane pump fuel)

I was hoping for 210 wkW or is that too optimistic ??

The power doesn't seem too smooth which is concerning...

Also I see there is a 30% ambient correction for N/A though my car is boosted ??

What was your baseline before you put in the JB? My N54 makes 194wkw and 441nm to give you an idea. Those should almost be your stock readings on an N55. I've seen some stock N55 on here make 200wkw..So a 5kw gain doesn't seem correct.

You car seems abit down on power with the Jb4 should see about 230wkw. What is stage 2 Jb4 map5? With an aftermarket intake ?

your car definitely down on power and torque somethings no right
torque should be over 500nm

The fact that you said the car is more powerful with the tune would make me concerned about the health of the car.

So logged the car earlier. Max PSI I got was 13.2 on map 1 and 12.2 on map 5 so something is definitely wrong... will pm you Twinz once I am home.

Was this a Map5 run, map 5 is not always so great on the dyno but it on the road


Run the car for about 70kms on Map1 then do a Map1 run followed by a Map2 run, gauge it from there

Cool so we are presuming its HPFP failure will confirm after further diagnostics. Thanks for amazing support Twinz !!!

@SwickedV I have a 135 DCT. Figures were as follows:
Stock - 200wkw & 403nm
PPK1 - 218wkw & 446nm
jb4 - 249wkw & 492nm

Car had no DP and ran on pump fuel.
You should see more or less similar figures
All figures at the wheel with no correction factor, done at the coast

I always had strange effects when running map5 on 95, its like it wanted to boost to high which made the car run lean. If everything else is stock I would recommend running map1 on 95. Throw in some NF ultra or 40% e85 then map 5 becomes a beast, enough to blow your charge-pipe off after a few months of pushing it, haha. This was just my experience. You should also be fine to run map2 with NF ultra or 40% e85 in the tank with everything else stock (don't tell anyone). That being said maybe I was just parranoid running map5 on 95 but it did not feel right when it sometimes jumped beyond 15 psi which I know is not on when running 95. Twins will be able to give you best advise though. Hope you come right.:thumbs:
