Hi guys.

I need to replace my front pads and discs. OEM parts are around R9k. I received a quote for Febi pads and discs for around R4k.

Any experiences with Febi? Any other aftermarket brand recommended for less than OEM? Or bite the bullet and go OEM?

Appreciate any input.

Textar is a good option for pads. I think that is the BMW OEM. I've used textar. Sean (Moranor) used to be able to supply these items but he has moved to New Zealand recently if I'm not mistaken. Not sure what discs to use though.

Most Midas' should be able to help you out. And if not TEXTAR then ATE should also do just fine. BMW used both as OEM suppliers.
You could also upgrade pads to EBC xxxstuff and discs or VARI Racing.

I'm also in CPT and last week I bought Textar pads from Textar SA in JHB,they were delivered the next day. I can give you the name of the sales Rep I dealt with. Paid R1200 for front and back pads.

Sadly it won't fit the 135 as those discs are smaller...
