135 purchase

Hi there. My names Aazaad. I am in the process of buying a 135i and would like the guys opinions. Well firstly I was looking at a 2010 model. I found one which was a dct and only has 46000km and has xenons and sunroof. The last two items is a must have. The owner wants R260k. I was them busy with finance when another one became available with most of the options I would like. It's a 2009 monaco blue. It has 85000km. The extras is xenons, sunroof, front and rear pdc, sat Nav and Dvd with hi fi sound. It also has carbon boot spoiler and diffuser. And lastly has performance short shifter kit and performance steering with race clock. This cars motorplan expire end of jan 2015. I have checked history on car and came back clean. All recalls were done as well as new diff and clutch done at 56000km. The guy wants R260k.

Do you guys think it is worthed or should I look at a newer model.

Is the 2010 dct an N54 or N55?

For interest sake I came across this one in the autotrader. Mileage is super low.

@chavoos. I did have a look at that black one but it didn't have xenons.

Also the 2010 is an n55 I would assume as it is a dct.

Correct. DCT only with N55 in 1 series models

Bud, check the mileage when brakes were replaced, this will give you a few clues as to how the car was previously driven.

Brakes were cleaned at 20000km. Fronts and rears were changed at 50000km and then again at 77000km.

Ok 50 seems reasonable enough. If the mileage is beyond 70 try push the mp for at least front shocks when they do the quality check. Not easy to authorise but well worth the try.

Howsit Aazaad, my car here in question. As far as I know, only the front breaks were changed at 77k, the rears are still from the change at 50k.

Less risk on you / cost and better for resale purposes.

As far as I know all DCT models came with the N55 engine....like my 2010 DCT is:rollsmile:
