Check if there is a leak somewhere or check your coolant pump and thermostat. I'm no expert but start with those 2 things , could also be a faulty sensor.

As above- check for leaks. Also did you top up when it was hot or when it was cold? This can also affect the level

First time i saw it i let it cool down (enough for it not to overflow from the bottle.. it needed about 500ml of water.. the float went to top..

Light still didn't go off.

Parked car last night didn't drive it today.. now i checked bottle again, cold completely now...
Needed 50ml very little.. so i topped it up.

But the light still doesn't go off.. try resetting with the left stalk but it just flashes once twice three times and then thats it.. when you turn it off still shows the coolant warning light..

Oh also no leaks at all.. checked everywhere..

The symptoms you describe was very similar to what happened to a friend of mine over the weekend. Turns out his waterpump was on its last.

Just so you guys know . Tried many many things.. eventually tried removing the bottle to get to sensor..
So it wouldnt clip out and i didnt want to break it so i moved it around a bit and put it all back.. wanting to research it more...

Then i get into rhe car and low coolant is gone.. do a check and all ok..
Yay..

Just needed a good shake up it seems..

I had the same error on my 135, took it in because it was on motorplan and they replaced the water bottle and sensor. Seems to be a common issue - pretty cheap though.

Also - first post, hello all :)
