Yo guys!

I just ordered my slr ( speed limier remover) from terry, so in a week or so my car won't govern at 250km/h anymore!!!
Do anyone know what the topspeed of these cars are without the govern?
And the guys running flashes, are your cars governed or what speeds do they reach!!!

I run a flash and I have manged to push it close to 300km/h. I am sure at the coast you can maybe get there faster or slightly higher.

Enjoy the SLD...i have the BMS also and it makes the world of difference...Nomercy, you will notice the BMS version has a trick up its sleeve:)

But let's leave those high speeds for the occasional drag/track day.

So I've spoken to some guys on other forums and it looks like the n54 will do 300km/h without the govern!!!
Basically it will do those speeds without to many mods, the only difference is how fast youy will get there!!!
Porche's here I come!!!

I dont think you will get 300 kms without mods...maybe I am wrong Twinzz will know more but remember if your car has run flats be careful
they cannot handle high speeds that is why M cars have normal high speed rated tyres.

The tyres are a big issue, the runcraps tyrer are the worst tyres ever, for everything! Drag, strip and speed!!!
I personally thinks its the worst tyre ever made, some y rated tyres tough and your set!!!

nomercy... do yourself a favor and upgrade your 135 suspension and tyres if you want to run these high speeds

the 135 seems to "float" on stock suspension

If 135i coupe does 5840 revs at 250 km/h with 258 on speedo IMHO about 275 km/h should be top end then at about 6450 rpm ,with 285 on speedo , all at coast .
I would expect a bit higher top end at reef due to thinner air , maybe 282 or so with 292 on clock about 6580 rpm .
Yes I know at these revs the power will be past peak , but only about 10-12 kw down ?
Get susp and tyres sorted , a blowout at speed will cause debris over a wide area , may be picked up on radar !!
Will be interesting to see who guesses nearest .

RFT's really shitty on our roads...:nono:

Pravesh is right one will have to upgrade to high performance tyres that can handle those speeds...any one off the RFTs in the Ms and 135/335s???

I got 282km/h true speed on my modded 335 at altitude on the Vbox. Would not go beyond that. Was past the power peak in top gear. Remember 282 was true speed, but the clock stops at 280. If the clock could go to 300, I think it would show close to 300 clock speed at that point.

Totally agree floats likes" bloody hell" feels like a strong cross wind.

Just a general note... Please make sure your tyres are rated for the higher speed!

It's difficult to say what the engine revs will be, because the drag increases quadratically... So, with a doubling of the speed, the resistance is multiplied by 4 which requires more force. I can try work it out, and guess. :thumb:
