Hi Everyone,

My brother has been in the market for a vehicle for a while now. After considering many options ranging from Vivo GT's to Fiesta ST's, we eventually settled on this gem. I think it is an absolute gem to have as a first car

After seeing what a great all round vehicle my E90 320d proved to be, we were determined to get something similar for him
A big thanks to @Silverbird_96kw and @Donnie Darko for all the assistance during the sale. Wayne referred the car to me as he knew my brother was looking for one and that Donnie was selling one. A few pics and calls later and the deal was done!

@Donnie Darko was absolutely great to deal with and I will definitely recommend anyone to purchase from him

The car drives absolutely great and turns a lot of head in stock form. I even contemplated swopping my 320d with him 😂

Wishing my brother many safe miles with smiles

congrats.

car is a real looker and for polo vivo money, offers a far better package.
interior still feels new and drives like new.
any ideas or fixes for the slight wind noise coming from the frameless doors?

Delivery Service - 143 xxx km

It's been 3 months with the vehicle now and around 3000km's have been done with it
It's an absolute pleasure to drive albeit a bit quiet for my brother in stock form 😂

He is itching for a downpipe but before any mods we decided to do a service first

It was quite a nice experience as my brother, dad and I DIY'd the service together on both the 120d and 320d

The following was done:

Oil service
Diff oil change
Fuel filter
Cabin filter

We plan on keeping the vehicle for a while and will do our best to maintain it as well as possible

that last pic is quite a looker

was quite rewarding getting our hands dirty.
should have started diy years ago.. think of the labour costs we could have saved.
but rather later than never.

safe and economical travels

Update - +- 160 xxx km - Oil Service & Rear Brake Pads

The 120d was in need of some TLC again. We carried out an oil service and rear brake pad change last weekend as well as sprayed the kidney and lower grilles gloss black

Parts used:
Liqui Moly Engine Flush
Motul 8100 X-cess
Liqui Moly Ceratec
TRW Brake Pads
Surebrake Brake Sensor

It was the first time doing a DIY brake pad change. I was a bit skeptical at first but after watching a YouTube video, we decided to give it a go. Ended up being much simpler than I thought

Update - +- 162 xxx km - Downpipe and Software

We finally did it! 😁

After driving the 30d and 35i for a while my brother finally bit the bullet and sent the car in. He's been wanting to do software and downpipe and couldn't be happier now

We recently took a C43 to @Xcede Performance and after having a great experience with them on that vehicle decided to drop the 120d off when picking up the C43

The car drives absolutely brilliantly. The power delivery is smooth and effortless. You don't realise how fast you're going until you look at the speedo
Juvan and team @Xcede Performance have been great to deal with and I will definitely recommend them

The car now has the power to match the looks
