This is the best build I have seen yet. All I can see is the huge expense. But I am sure its worth it.

Well done George. Excellent work.

Waiting patiently to see the end result.

I have fallen a bit behind with the build. I went on holiday for a month which got extended. I only picked up the block today from the engineers and the rods, pistons and crank are off for balancing. Transmission is stuck in customs because they cannot find the document with the serial number from when I shipped it :flyfun:
The charger. Should be with me next week hopefully (there was a back order with some fuel components) and I will be assembling all at once and run the car in on low boost.

The pistons where built to spec oven heated to see expansion vs stock so the block only needed a glaze clean and no honing.
There where no weight discrepancies amongst the pistons and the rods with all of them being identical to each other and the weight difference vs stock items is so small it is not required to balance the crank at that level so it just got sent back untouched.

Seriously awesome stuff man, world class build. Impressed also that the stock bottom end looked so good. Proud to be an AMG owner at this point.:joy:

Have you got to run-in phase as yet?

I have seen that okes overseas have run 6.5s passes on the 1/8th with similar setups. Should make for 9s 1/4 mile passes.

Also watching the World Motorsports build to see how that goes along.
