Good Day

So I got this car in 2017 with 293232 KM and this past weekend we hit a milestone of 300000 KM, I missed the picture moment with just 1KM:hammerhead:

Anyway
For a first car at 22 I won’t lie it was a lot and wow I fell in-love with her day by day & the sound still sounds amazing as the day I got her from my mother.

With only driven 6986 KM I’ve done the following:

2018:
Starter
Alternator

Done this month:
Spark Plugs
Oil Filter
Fuel Filter
Oil Change
Air Filter
Tappet Cover Gasket
ATF Pipe Change & Refill
Mechanical Fan Blade.
Coolant Level Sensor
Water Coolant Bottle

To Do: Stem Seals (Mechanic advised we do them as it has a light smoke on cold start which disappears.)

I wish I could have Documented all these things but I didn’t do them myself.

I won’t be letting go of this car at all and as I have also started to take interest in doing DIY’s. I’m more excited as ever and I would also like to change a few things in the process... oh and I’ve started searching for a MTech 2 Front bumper to kick things off.

There she is and she goes by the name of MARY

Very nice.
My opinion: Don't go M Tech 2 on a Pre F/L

Thank you, been googling a lot of them with the MTech 2 and they don’t look bad at all, may I ask why? And what would you suggest.

Agree.. I would go mtech 1 since that kit was made for the pre facelift.. Only hassle is getting the kit..

Thanks, I’ll check it out... how much would it cost to respray a bumper? What’s the average going rate ?

If you have space, buy it and store it until you have collected all the pieces of the kit and then do them all in one go.. Gives you time to save as you get the bits you need.

Just out of interest sake, there are 2 oil level sensors.
1 in the sump, only do this with oil service to save some trouble, infact Garage808 gave me discount on the labor because I was doing a service too. Replaced this one last month in my car. It doesn't leave the oil light on, but I had errors for oil temperature when doing readings using PASoft.

There is another one higher up, which is much easier to do.

Stunning car bud!

These 30i's are just something else. One of the best sounding stock i6's ever. Just such a clean and distinct sound to it!
Enjoy and many happy miles mate

Valve-stem issue on an M54? That's not common I think. Could it not be something else causing light smoke on start up? If it's the seals you should be getting smoke even when hot when you take off after sitting in traffic for a bit.
