Hi Guys,
As most of you have read we have a big Fanatics Race Day set for the 26th of July opened to all the Fanatics forums.

Places to enter for racing on the day were all taken up within a few days of opening up the event which means an awesome day of racing for the Fanatics Community.
To make any of these events a success though, we require the support of the rest of the forum members, together with their families and friends to come through and spectate on the day to support the community and cause.
To get the ball rolling I thought, together with the team, it would be a good idea to get a list going of possible spectators who will be attending on the day. In addition to this I would also like to create a separate list for possible volunteers on the day to assist with the logistics of the event - These members should not be racing on the day.
Once we have a list of volunteers confirmed we can then discuss the roles and responsibilities for the day. We can probably cap this list at 12 people for now and will require your full support for the day.
We could possibly use this thread to discuss the possibility of any convoys we know leaving from certain areas as well.
Lets support the Fanatics Family and make this a success...
Spectators please note:
Spectator vehicles will not be allowed into the Pit Area. Only Race Cars and a limited amount of pit crew vehicles will be allowed into the Pit Area.
Spectators will be allowed to walk around and setup Gazebo, etc in Pit Area.

Road to ODI
N1 and N4 is pretty much highway.
R80 to ODI, you need to be weary. Potholes and many unmarked speed bumps.
Directions to ODI
Travel on N1 towards Petersburg.
Take N4 split just after Zambezi turnoff.
Follow through tollgate. (The Racers Convoy will meet at the Engen, just after the Toll)
Take 4th turnoff R80 SHOSHANGUVE left, road makes a complete 270 degree turn. Travel in a northerly direction for 7.7km.
Proceed past ROSSLYIN turnoff until you see Marula Sun boards.
Take HEBRON off ramp and turn left.
Go straight for approximately 10.3km until you find the board marked Marula Sun.
There will now be a 4-way crossing MABOPANE GARANKUA.
Set Speedo to zero and go across the 4-way stop for 6.2km.
You will pass thatch roofs on your left and a Liquor store on your right.
At the sign board (ODI RACEWAY), turn left and follow this road.
This will lead you to the track entrance.
