Fella's...

For those who missed my intro,my name is Tevin,I'm a student from pmb.Long story short,I'm carless after writing off my golf(wasn't my fault) and now I'm on a really really REALLY strict budget.Usually I wouldn't rush into anything but the circumstances have put me in a state of desperation.I've been looking for a cheap daily to get me to and from campus which is roughly a 15km trip there and back. Now I'm know I can't expect a minter for under R20k but I've been browsing OLX and gumtree for a while and have found a few cars. The thing is,as I am a student,I cannot travel very far to view the cars and this could be a huge problem as people can easily BS over the phone.Basically what I need is some advice on where to go from here and some opinions on a few cars.

So far these seem "ok" considering the money being asked.

I fully understand what comes with a car within this budget.Rust, behind licences, faded paint etc etc etc.

Opinions,suggestions,advice more than welcome!

Howsit bud, I dont think these would be suitable. Most of these seem to have pretty expensive problems that would need your attention... I'll keep my eyes and ears open for you

Thanks a lot man:thumbs:

That's something that's also a concern.I did most of the work on my golf but there's a big difference between a citi and a beemer lol.I browsed around and although spares are plentiful on the web.The prices are not too grand.:argh:

I'm just hoping I get the bursaries I applied for. That should help my situation abit.

Good luck bro

If you're not afraid to get your hands dirty then DIY is the way to go. But stuff like "Odometer not working" and "Front suspension needs work" are gonna be expensive fixes
