So inj my search for performance filters i stoped at Midas and got a price for ATE brake pads for my 318. R700 for all 4 (ATE Brand) is this good bad or ugly and are the ATE pads any good???

Hi why not try Goldwagen. I know , but, they now stock full bmw & renault parts as well as vw, audi, etc... and they were really cheap.

ATE not bad, chances are that they made your calipers. I know my e36 comes with Jurids as standard, but I prefer Ferodo DS2500's

Hi Spy,
I am yet to replace my pads on my E46, but have often used ATE pads on other cars with good results. Decent kms and no noise. R700 for front and rears seems very cheap. Did you perhaps price discs as well?

 ATE is BMW OEM. You will be in good hands and that is a decent price. You want to spend a bit (okay, a lot) more, go check out www.powerbrake.co.za
