Congrats Karsh! The F80 is such an awesome car from the looks, to the feel, to the engaging drive. Personal preference but this one is a keeper given the rarity.

Sorry to hear about the issues. Really annoying that guys out there don’t maintain these special cars and save couple thousands when service is due only to have 100s of thousands of issues later.

Congrats KarshS

Thanks for keeping this F80 even with the little bumps. Hopefully all smooth sailing from now on.

I wish to have this mindset when the time comes for me to have a sporty car lol.. I would love the F82 (or F87) though instead of F80, but I don't see the SO approving

Do what i did..... Bring it home without her even knowing. She was only upset for the day. After she saw how happy the car made me she forgot all about not liking it :ROFLMAO:

Its easier to ask for forgiveness than permission 👀

Thanks for the kind wishes gents.

Im keen to see how the car has turned out after Sauber is completed. Fetching it tomorrow. Will share some pictures or come through to BeemerFest on Sunday. Will be at the Rennzport area.

Bro, even some brand new cars have issues from factory, its actually so shocking.

Agreed - The attention to detail that we had come to expect from German cars is becoming ever harder to spot... while we are distracted by gigantic screens.

I just discovered a way to sate my need for cars and remain married, it's an art I've perfected! If you need help I charge affordable rates for advice.

I too have learned this power :ROFLMAO:

She won't stop ... she is shorter than me so she always gets me in the hard to reach places....

I am fooked!

And I am no longer engaging in this topic after this post because ... I have a feeling this thread is going to go way south (excuse the pun). :ROFLMAO:

Congrats on the purchase, Macao blue is a very special colour and really shows off well in the sun. In terms of spraying I had some work done on my 30 Jahre at ABS midrand and the work was flawless with no signs of mismatch. My car had 40k on clock but was a daily driver with no ppf so was properly sandblasted up front and there was no way around it but to respray panels.
