Started noticing a squeak on cold start, that would continue until the car was warm-ish and then would disappear. Opened the bonnet and listed around the belt tensioner area and it sounded like the tensioner was on its way out.
Old tensioner out:
INA tensioner from Goldwagen (OE, and checked that wasn't made in China

)
No stock of Continental belts in SA. No experience with Dayco. Will see how it goes, if it gives me issues I'll replace with an OEM belt.
Checked the vibration damper while I was down there, still looks great.
Put it all back together, no noises. Must've been the tensioner itself, as the pulleys were still good. 10 minute job to do, must be the easiest bit of maintenance I've ever done on a car!
Car booked in at ZF next week for the gearbox service. Looking forward to it!
Fuel consumption seems to be sticking around the 6.2 - 6.4L/100km mark in traffic driving. Stoked.
