Hi All,
Its been a while since i have been on the forum due to life, hope life has been treating you all well!
So after 300 000km and 10 years of mostly trouble free motoring, I have decided to let go of my trusty Audi A4 2.0 tdi (2014). I had her since brand new and she has really served me well, but in the end I found myself spending way too time replacing pricey wear & tear items such as clutches – yes clutches long story for another day, control arms – you know the normal stuff.
Having not paid any car instalments for the past 5 or so years & promising myself that I would never do the new car thing again, my search for a diesel replacement began. The new Audi’s were out on day zero, let’s just say I could never justify paying close to 500-800k for a 110kw something or other, really disappointing if I you consider the fact my 2014 TDI was a 130kw standard (later added a downpipe, egr/dpf delete and stage 1 software). Anyhoo… I figured I had the Audi out of motorplan for the past 5 years – I didn’t die, the service were at times costly but manageable and I was pretty sure I didn’t want to be paying in excess 10k for any car period – The need verses want speeches complete, a lot of careful consideration and consultation with my finance minister, “we” decided to pull the trigger on a F30 330d M sport 2017 model with 120 000 km on the clock.
She is not new, has some imperfection but she was within budget and I truly could not be happier – scrap that I am in love!
