Ouch! That’s gonna hurt.

Is the new M2 really wild? The last car that seemed to build a bit of a reputation was the G7.5 TCR.
It's not only the M2 here in CPT, it's M cars in general lately.

There was a M4 (Gold) on the way to Palms on Saturday lying in the ditch just after the bend by the Golf Course and a M3 (White) in Goodwood Milton Road that lost control on a drift and ended up slamming into 3 cars at the robot on Sunday.

One could point out the roads are super slippery with the weather we have lately but in general there's something on the rise with meets down here at the moment. Have a look: (The guy in the silver polo at the start sums it up to the tee)

These M's are like CPT high school sweethearts, they might look good but they've been abused to the limit.

From the vids I see on social media, CPT M drivers want to do burnouts/donuts every chance they get :ROFLMAO: so that's probably why they end up in these situations.

Its because of things like these that we don't have proper runs in Cape town as you okes have in GP.

Drivers are going temporarily blind after spotting the reflection of the car

In all seriousness these guys seem to have absolutely no idea how an RWD car handles. It's like a rehash of 325is/E36 M3 days where driver aids were not around in abundance preventing natural selection from intervening. Everyone wants to be like the TikTokkers/Youtubers and be cool having traction off/using drift mode as though it suddenly also adds talent.

The RWD mode doesn't "want to send you into the ditch" - that is how RWD high powered 300kw+ cars have ALWAYS handled. How many times have the M3/x35/x40/M5 owners posted for decades now about how they spin away all the power in RWD or how the car is unruly/needs your full attention. Maybe the new wave of owners want the TeChNolOgY to fix physics problems? :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

Would love to know if insurance paid out for a few of the ones I've seen... especially with all the documented evidence on social media...

high school sweethearts or anime waifu pillows?

I was at cars in the park this weekend. There were no detailing stands. Amongst the stands in what is a more 'traditional' crowd than more modern shows/parkoffs was this bastion of the future:

Yeah exactly that, combine that with their attitudes at these meets and the frenzy of sea cucumbers running around between the cars with their phones and you have a recipe for homicide on the rise.

As of late, I've been looking at other car meets from an entirely different perspective. Are the emo kids at the 86 meets or the pop-offs from the Ford/Audi drivers really that bad compared to this?

I totally understand now why the Ghost Squad rocks up at meets and ends them the moment they hear there are more than 3 BMW's attending.

Imagine us trying to organize a run for the fanatics group in CPT only to be flocked by these nutters shouting Dallah to every single car expecting us to spin/donut the kak out of it while barely having enough space to drive in the street. By all means, if some of these drivers are on here, be it members or forum creepers, explain the maths to me please.

I have my spirited moments on a daily basis, trust me, there must be loads of tannie Karens freaking out about my driving. But I won't do it if my lane is not open, if the traffic amount is high, a school that just came out with kids walking around etc etc etc.

As a "prentjie mens" I do not wanna go down the road of attempting to imagine what they do with these said pillows :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:
Teezoh, I drove past you last week Friday, close to Bastion primary school. Well let me rather say I drove past the car in your profile pic.
Flash or wave next time ;)

You should consider joining the BMW Car Club Cape Town - for regular and less frenzied hookups and runs.

I have watched the one video posted here on another thread and another video was recommended to me by YouTube and both times I concluded that those are not events I would like to be a part of.

BMWs seems to dominate those events so I guess the guys who are longing for events in Cape Town can have a look and see if what’s on display is their style.

Funny enough, there has been no G87’s on there.
