Greetings ladies & gents.
After selling my E82 120d quicker than I anticipated
(https://www.bmwfanatics.co.za/threads/moving-from-an-e82-120d-to-e90-f30-320d.97685/)
, I finally found this beautiful 2012 E90 320d LCI with 160 000KM on the ODO. Flew down to Gauteng for the inspection and purchase and drove the car back to Cape Town and I must commend, compared to the E82, the E90 feels much more planted, softer and handles higher speeds very comfortable with reduced wind noise. I also found it to be more fuel efficient- averaged 5.4l/100km with an average speed of 140km/h.
Am a bit down on power though since the 120d had a downpipe and stage 1 file, but everything else in the E90 makes up for that.
Could have saved a bit more for the F30, but the E90 once again, in the M Sport trim especially, is such a timeless design, with quality materials used in the interior and hydrolic steering wheel had me made an easy decision.
BMW really knew what they were doing when they made the E90.
Regards
