BMW ConnectedDrive Experience

I'm curious to know what has been your BMW ConnectedDrive experience, benefits and other potential damning data can BMW monitor with this service?

My car is due for service. I received an email below stating which items require a service.



Soon after, I got a call from my BMW dealer to schedule a service for Monday.



I hear BMW ConnectedDrive has other benefits like automatical calling in the event of an accident, your vehicle’s location as well as the nature and gravity of the accident, airbags activated?, did the vehicle overturn?

I had the same notifications when my car was due for brakes to be replaced.
I once used the concierge service. Actually got lost, and used this feature so that they could send me co-ordinates to where i wanted to be.

got through to someone in another country. he could see where i was and sent the coordinates to my vehicle. All i had to do was click start Navigation once he sent the message to my car.

Love the APP as well. remotely lock and unlock the car using the phone.
Winter i used to activate the ventilation from my app so that when i get to the car it is warm.

Can track my car's location from the App.
Search for for a destination on the APP and send to car while at my desk.

Reviving an old thread in hope that someone can help..
I'm having an issue with the ConnectedDrive app. The functions on my F30 have been disabled with the following error:


But... it also shows this....



I did receive an email to renew my subscription for Real-time traffic info etc. However on my X3 and previous F30, I'm still able to send destinations, lock/unlock the car without renewing the initial the 3 year subscription. I did try calling the support desk but the line just goes dead.

Anyone else with the same issue?
