So gents and ladies,

What is your current fuel consumption on your 20d/30d?
Please also state what kind of driving you do to achieve such mileage (urban, extra urban or combined).

It's my first vehicle and solely a weekend warrior so this value is a bit of an outlier but mine is currently 10l/100km.

e82 120d Stage 2 software, downpipe and Xhp stage 3

F07 530d gt with a ac schnitzer chip

Havent yet taken it on a long journey but so far for urban with a slighly heavy foot im averaging 8.2L/100km according to fuelly based on 7500km

F25 X3, 20d with software & decat. Last tank did 8.37L/100km got 735km out of the tank 80% urban driving (school runs) 20% highway.
Best I got so far was 7.8L/100km (834km to the tank)

Dbn to Jhb: 6.4l/100km
In both trips, 4 adults, mix of comfort + eco Pro, around 130km/h...Easter weekend

This is friggen awesome consumption for urban.
You running on eco?
Also what are your tyre size front and back? I read somewhere that tyre size affects consumption.

Morningside to near Sandton City ( work route),
5km of stop start traffic and unoperational traffic lights, 8.4l/100km

F25 X3 20d on route and similar conditions does 11.4l/100km
F30 330d did about 10.7l/100km

Recent trip to jhb. Return trip from jhb with cruise on at 124km/h with a full boot
4.6l/100km
Normal everyday urban run
7.2l/100km

2009 E90 330d LCI
Freeway cruising at 120km/h
5.1l/100km
Normal everyday spirited driving
9.3l/100km

No SW or DP on either cars. Stock standard

A question I suppose for those that have answered or will.
What the consensus on dropping into neutral and freewheeling on downhills? Does it assist in conserving fuel?

From what I've seen, coasting on eco-pro is very effective. Same as in manual as well but not sure of impact on gearbox.
