Hows it going everyone.
I've been in the market for an s54 motor for a few years now, struggling with the choice between an e46 m3 and a z4m (roadster or coupe).
Glad to say I'm a relatively new owner of a white z4m roadster. Ended up going this route for a number of reasons but basically at this point in my life, this car fits the picture perfectly (I've got it alongside a 79 Merc 450SLC in case I need the four seats (I know, petrol, lol)).
Anyways, here's some pics of her:



I did make the purchase knowing there'd be some costs coming up:

- The satnav screen is dead - its a question of whether its the satnav unit, or the actual screen - anyone know how to test this?
- Rodbearings to be replaced - she's sitting on 111k km. I know, standard question that's probably be answered - where to go in CT to have this done? Seems a lot of the known guys are JHB side.
- Vanos will need refreshing at some point - Basically asking the same question. Wheres the best place to have the preventative stuff ticked off without shipping the car two and from JHB? Happy to look at dealers, but are they doing the work well?
