Hi guys,

My first post on the forum, hoping to join the BMW fam soon.

I have been after a specific F30 spec with no luck so hoping this may help.

I'm after a black 320d F30 m sport, preferably an LCI with extras - performance kit, sunroof, paddle shift, nav, extended contents screen.

I know I may have to compromise on some of the extras, the main goal is the colour and proper M sport setup. (Kit can be fitted later)

The examples I've come across on the usual car sites are generally not in great condition.

Any suggestions on where to look would be greatly appreciated.

Stick to your requirement as close as possible.

You obviously know if after LCI that you want to look end of 2015 or newer. TBH - LCI on the F30s is not like as different as on E90 platform, so dont rule out a non-LCI?

Msport should have 'aero kit' - i THINK.

Paddle shift will be equipped with Sports auto box.

Black cars are tough to keep clean. Look for one that is mechanically really good and looked after, and maybe send for a detail - should look great thereafter?

Couple tips - Harmon Kardon sound IS worth it. Professional nav is the larger screen [nicer] - i always confuse Business & Pro nav also nice to have.

Keep looking on the usual spots, check out the marketplace on this forum as well.

Stay patient and get the one you want. Don't be impatient & regret after. Great deals are around.😇

Agree with @Morribiscuit . Finding a clean diesel M sport takes a ton of patience but considering the amount of money being spent here it's better to take your time till you find the right car.

Thanks for the info, yes I don't mind the pre-LCI as long as it's well spec'd as I believe the F30 320d's are generally solid from the start.

I'm not sure if the aero kit consists of the front lip, side skirts, boot spoiler and diffuser or if these parts are factory but this will be fitted regardless and not really a must in the search.

I know the struggle of a black car but willing to wait it out to find a good condition one.

I see that very few F30's have the Harmon Kardon or the Professional nav so this would be a plus but not gonna be too picky as I've already been scoping a decent black one for a while with no luck. I see that the 40 year edition ones come nicely spec'd however all the ones I've seen do not have nav for some reason.

Appreciate the advise and will definitely wait it out to find the right one 🙂
