So I am a big fan of the Lexus V8 swaps but I am sure most of you aren’t especially if it’s in a BMW. So thought I would share

Neat conversion.

Maybe you could replace the Toyota badge with a BMW one. If Toyota could put a toyota badge on a BMW motor, you should be able to put a BMW badge on a Toyota one :roflol::cthulhu:

yea, if you just put the BMW badge in the oven for a bit it should melt into the Toyota shape.

I like it, good dependable power plant, will probably go forever if the rest of the car doesn't fall apart, who knows how the BMW got to this point in its life.

Just needs a set of turbos !!

From what I have read on the interwebs, there isn't much aftermarket support for tuning up Lexus V8 engines. Also, the owner of the car might just be looking for a nice smooth daily driver.

Doing this on an E12, E34 or E39 fiver would be sacrilege but I am totally cool with this particular swap. (y)
